Pecha Kucha Night Louisville Vol3 Presenters:

antoniomeloAntonio Melo

Antonio Melo, a Louisville-based husband, father and musician (¡PRESIDENTE!, themovingsidewalk, Blocker Blocks) rarely indulges in the illusion of being a technocrat. Instead, his focus is his family. And he contributes towards the nexus between creativity, culture, problem solving, value(s) and technology. Humana is the current context. When not leading the 900 S 6th St. block watch (party), he also enjoys riding bikes, hiking, camping, soccer, cheap laughs and even identity crisis. One might attribute his participation in the latter to being the first member of his Colombian family born in the United States. Since 1973

virginiaspeedVirginia Speed

I am an artist and collector of art and experiences. For this presentation I will be presenting an introduction to JIN SHIN JYUTSU. JIN SHIN JYUTSU is an energy art. Literally defined, JSJ is the Creator's Art through Compassionate Man, an innate part of human wisdom waiting to become reawakened. As Plato said, " Learning is remembering." All is within us waiting to be brought to consciousness.

jessicakoehlerJessica Koehler

I’ve always been drawn to the unknown. This is nothing unique to me, but everyone’s longings lead them on a unique path. Mine has compelled me to study or work in a variety of capacities throughout the United States and overseas. With each new adventure, I try to weave it into my collection of previous and seemingly unrelated experiences. This Pecha Kucha presentation is my most current tapestry of ideas.

paulsirekPaul Sirek

Paul is a collector of sorts. With a craving for the peculiar, he plies the internet for automobiles, furniture, watches, knick-knacks and other sundry oddities that he uses to fill the corners of his life. Between April fourth and May fifth of this year his children will be 3 and 8 - and he will be 38. Paul thinks this is cosmic and expects great things to happen during this time.
